Homemade Spaghetti Seasoning

This homemade spaghetti seasoning blend is full of Italian herbs and love—just like Grandma Mary's kitchen.

  • Airtight jar

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp dried oregano
  • 2 tbsp dried basil
  • 1 tbsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
  • 1 tbsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, combine all the dried herbs and spices.
  • Gently crush the dried herbs with your fingers as you mix to release more aroma.
  • Transfer the mixture to an airtight jar or spice shaker.
  • Store in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months.
  • Use 2-3 tablespoons per pound of ground beef or per batch of spaghetti sauce.
